🌙 Teacher Compensation & Professional Conduct Policy

At Ma'arifat-ul-Quran Institute, we recognize that our teachers are the heart of our educational mission—individuals entrusted with transmitting sacred knowledge through sincerity, excellence, and compassion. This document outlines the global-standard framework of compensation, professional expectations, and ethical guidelines that govern the service relationship (Ijārah) between the Institute and its respected instructors.

1. Nature of Agreement (Ijārah Framework)

All engagements between the Institute and its teachers are based on the Islamic principle of Ijārah, representing a lawful and transparent service agreement. Each engagement defines:

  • Class hours, duration, and subjects
  • Agreed compensation structure
  • Teaching responsibilities and reporting protocol
  • Terms of leave and performance evaluation

2. Teaching Responsibilities

  • Conduct all classes punctually and consistently
  • Maintain student engagement and academic discipline
  • Record each class (where required) and share it promptly
  • Submit a brief class summary or progress report daily
  • Respond to students' queries respectfully and promptly
  • Notify administration prior to any absence or delay
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in advance
  • Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback

3. Compensation Structure (Ijārah System)

Category Teaching Format Student Count Monthly Compensation (PKR)
A Regular Class 10 students or more 12,000
B Regular Class Fewer than 10 students 6,000
C Regular Class 5 or fewer students 5,000
D One-on-One (Local Student) 4,000 per hour
E One-on-One (International – Basic) 4,000 per hour
F One-on-One (International – Takhassus) 10,000 per hour

Note: "Local" refers to instructors teaching within Pakistan. "International" refers to those teaching students abroad. Compensation is reviewed every three months based on performance and growth.

4. Leave & Attendance Policy

  • Teachers are permitted up to 3 leaves per month without deduction
  • More than 3 leaves result in proportional deduction: Monthly Salary ÷ Working Days = Daily Deduction Rate
  • All absences must be communicated to administration in advance
  • Emergency leaves require proper documentation
  • Annual leave: 10 days (after one year of service)

5. Performance Evaluation & Incentive Policy

The Institute reviews teacher performance every three months based on:

  • Class regularity and punctuality
  • Teaching quality and clarity
  • Student satisfaction and retention
  • Submission of recordings and reports
  • Positive engagement within class groups

Progressive Increment System

  • After 6 months of consistent quality teaching: Rs. 4,000 increase
  • After additional 4 months (10 months total): Rs. 2,000 increase
  • Total increase after 1 year: Rs. 8,000

Example: A teacher starting at Rs. 12,000 can reach Rs. 20,000 after one year of excellence and consistency.

6. Deduction & Accountability Policy

Deductions may apply in cases of:

  • Repeated late arrival or early departure
  • Failure to deliver full class duration
  • Unnotified absence
  • Neglecting class recording or engagement duties
  • Student complaints or poor performance
  • Violation of professional ethics

7. Class Management & Student Care

  • Encourage regular attendance and participation
  • Contact absent students up to three times before marking inactive
  • Maintain a respectful and motivating class environment
  • Ensure confidentiality and uphold educational ethics
  • Provide constructive feedback to students
  • Report any concerns to administration promptly

8. Policy Review & International Standards
